Breathe Architecture have designed the Orrong Road House in Melbourne, Australia. One of the most beautiful features on this home has to be its roof and how it slants downwards to the south end. The floor in this home has embedded hydronic heating coils. By peeling away the former addition and reorientating the floor plan to maximise solar access, the new building enhances the quality and functionality of the interior throughout.The ‘Orrong Road House’ by Breathe Architecture also allows for natural ventilation and sunlight to pass through. The Beach House Q is one of the many completed fortresses by the innovative Longhi Architects. This structure is so much more than your typical beach house with its contemporary kitchen designs and bright color scheme composing of red, white and gray. The upstairs of the beach house is propped up by concrete and overlooks the gorgeous Misterio Beach in Cañete, Peru. Some of its other built works include the Alvarez House, the Lefevre House, the Pachacamac Hill House and the Panfichi Beach House. The four-story layered structure blends into the skyline, creating a seamless integration with its surrounding environment. The interior walls and furniture maintain the undulating form as they transition seamlessly into one another. The zen composition eliminates unnecessary clutter, thus allowing workers to concentrate on their creative ideas. Employees are also encouraged to sample the Kaffee products at the office coffee shop.
